KIDS KNIT - A knitting club just for kids.
We are offering two options for kids knitting instruction this Winter, with classes on Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Children must sign up for a specific session. Both our classes are taught by expert needlework instructors.
- Missy Holmes, an avid needlework artist and knitter, is teaching our Wednesday classes. Her unique approach to knitting, adapting Continental or U.S. style to suit each knitter's preference, is perfect to get kids started. Missy teaches the basics and provides projects that are accomplished quickly, ensuring self-assurance with our newest knitters
- Sheila Dick, also an avid needlework artist and knitter, has conducted workshops at nancy O. Sheila, a teacher by profession, has an amazing creative style. She'll also teach the basics and provide easy-to-accomplish projects that will give your child a great foundation in knitting.
. Children must be at least 8 years old to sign up for these
group lessons; class size is limited.
. Materials are included in the class fee.
Class fees are non-refundable.
If unable to attend a class, make-up classes may be arranged during alternate classes within session when available, but cannot be carried over to another session. If we cancel a class a make-upsession will be scheduled at no additional charge.
Classes will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. If minimum enrollment is not met, classes will be cancelled and tuition will be fully refunded
